Terms of Contract

  • Contract Type: Part-time contractor (up to 20 hours per week). 3 month contract, with opportunities to transition to W-2 employment for eligible U.S.-based candidates
  • Location: Open worldwide
  • Availability: Must be available to work during U.S. Eastern Time hours (currently UTC-4 / EDT) to coordinate with the team.

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented QA & Project Coordinator to support quality assurance and project delivery across our custom web applications. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys testing functionality, identifying edge cases, keeping projects on track, and working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure a smooth process and high-quality results. Requirements

To excel in this role, you should demonstrate:

  • Hands-on experience testing modern web applications across major browsers
  • Ability to write and execute structured test cases based on requirements
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., ClickUp, GitHub Issues)
  • Clear, proactive communication and documentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Basic project coordination skills, such as tracking deliverables, updating timelines, and flagging blockers
  • Comfort interacting with clients directly, both verbally and in writing, in a professional and responsive manner

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Familiarity with browser developer tools for inspecting elements and network activity
  • Understanding of responsive design, layout testing, and accessibility principles
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Pest)
  • General familiarity with the software development lifecycle and Git workflows
  • Experience supporting or leading agile-style development processes

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing of web applications across browsers and screen sizes
  • Create test plans and test cases based on product requirements and designs
  • Log detailed, reproducible bug reports with clear steps and environment details
  • Collaborate with developers to clarify requirements and retest resolved issues
  • Support regression testing during code deployments and feature rollouts
  • Communicate professionally with clients to clarify requirements, provide testing updates, and surface issues or risks early
  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure alignment across design, development, and QA
  • Help maintain visibility into project progress and proactively identify blockers or delays
