To strengthen our team, we are looking for a talented Back-End Developer who loves crafting elegant solutions with Laravel.
Your Role
As our new Back-End Developer, you will take ownership of designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable Laravel applications. You will be a key voice in technical discussions about architecture, performance, and security. Your work will directly influence the success of our client projects, and you will play an active role in shaping our development standards. This includes setting up and refining our CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions and mentoring other developers through constructive code reviews. Experience with Filament is a strong plus.
This role is open to candidates seeking either a permanent employment contract or a freelance agreement.
Your Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop scalable web applications using performant database queries, well-designed APIs, and efficient background jobs.
- Own and improve our CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
- Champion code quality through thoughtful code reviews and active knowledge sharing.
- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of our production environments.
What You Bring to the Table:
- You have 3+ years of professional experience building and maintaining production-level applications with Laravel.
- You possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, typically associated with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- You are proficient with modern development workflows, including Git, Composer, and automated testing.
- Either full proficiency in English or Dutch.
- You have a proactive mindset, take initiative, and feel a strong sense of responsibility for your work.
- You are located within a commutable distance to Nijmegen and are willing to work from our office at least 2 days per week to foster team collaboration.
